What is happening in France is a confront to the same Noble Democracy Ideals (NDI) that France seeks to espouse. Be a NDI – Noble Democratic Idealist. Fall not into the Democratic Strongman Fallacy (DSF). The population are not that unenlightened, or unintelligent, or unhealthy, or unworthy, or unwealthy, or unclassy, or not elite enough not to be heard. Rules and laws are past for the well being of the people. If the people say they don’t want it, don’t force it – thus goes Democracy. If you think the people really need a bill that they are vehemently opposing, then do your best in a freely Democratic society to sell your policy – through forums, think-tanks, debates, interview, town halls etc. Explain and express your point without bypassing Democractic safeguards. In a truely Democratic society, you can’t even force a dying patient to talk medication without concent, understanding, persuasion, or concessions. Don’t force a bill on Free Citizen. Convince them enough, and they might change their minds – that’s the wheel of Democracy. It’s a Free complex consensus system of give and take. Carrots and Sticks is not Democracy, persuasion and consensus building is Democracy. Practice the latter. Democracy is Humanity’s Virtue. Al PHlL.Prince Israel Zaar.03242023
