The banning of books is the beginning of ignorance, hatred, cruelty, or suspicion against one another. The banning of past history is a war against truth and reconciliation of an unsettling past. PIZ. Book banning of history demonstrates an unwillingness or uncomfortability to let truth be told. If the past brings thee shame, then why continue or prosper to preserve and protect such shameful past? History of the past wasn’t made by thee. It isn’t thy history – but a history of an ancestral or ancient past. You can only learn from history by telling or writing or educating others about it. The past is often crueler than the present. The present is meant to be crueler than the future if and only if the history of the past is told – for lessons for the present and future to be learned. The humans of today didn’t create or make themselves, or the cultures, traditions, religions, or political systems that they are born into or called upon to protect, preserve, espouse, or promote. But it’s upon them not to continue the cruelties and misfortunes or misgivings of the past – by making sure that “True History” be told, written, thought, and learned. The past is hardly the best of times when talking about equality, equity, and fairness. But the beauty, satisfaction, and happiness that we all seek, can equally be given to others – by us. As civilized being with reason, rationality, measurement, moderation, proportionality, and balance, it’s upon thee to repair the cruelties of past. Al PHIL.050123
