It’s true that people of the world sympathize and support again and again in blood, flesh, donations, military might, cash, will, visas, food, shelters, votes, protection, prayers, rallies, or hold protest for Ukraine. But it’s the bitter truth that this war must come to an end – for the strength, safety, and well-being of the sovereignty of Ukraine, and for the peace and security of the entire world. 022423. It’s upon Russia to make that choice – to end the war, withdraw all its troops, relinquish all the territories it occupies including those before the war, as well as compensate in rebuilding Ukraine and stand trial for all the war crimes and atrocities commited. All this conditions for Just Peace Settlement (JPS) would be noble and rational or reasonable if you’re dealing with a rational and reasonable adversary. Truth be told, that’s not the case. So, we negotiate by coming to the table with the willingness to give and take, lose and win, as well as lay ground works for the just foundation of lasting peace and security for Ukraine – together with a UN Peace Verification Force (PVF).The Voices for Peace should be given space as well. They too are for Ukraine. Never hurt, demonize, punish, or ostracize the Voices of Peace. Seeking Peace is a good thing, don’t you think? But never give to the enemy all their demands. Al PHIL.
