If the “New Age Democracy” is for the Strongman or OneMan, won’t that be a type of Democracy different from old? Won’t Democracies be stealing from dictators or so call authoritarians? Democracy is humanity’s virtue. There is nothing wrong with Democracy but everything wrong with those who are in charge of Democracies or the unequal institutions or instruments of Democracy that they have helped create. Examine prospective politicians at the helm of Democracies. Are their private agendas those of the people? Are they there for all the people or for a particular group? Are they for all the needs of the people or just for a particular group? Are their ploy to power division, identity politics, cultural wars, foreign wars, vengeance politics, victimhood politics, vindictive politics, personal enrichment politics, back dealing politics, corrupt politicking, influence peddling politics, propaganda politic, misinformation and disinformation politics, special interest politics, or hostage politics? See, all the above has nothing doing with Democracy. You can’t let Democracy be a tool. Democracy is governance for the will of the people. Don’t mess up what’s best. Democracy is humanity’s virtue.
