The nations thought of suspending war and upholding peace – hopeful to give it a try and see where it takes their war on peace. Each day a child is dead because of the war. Each day a pregnant woman and unborn bady is dead because of the war. Each day women and children can be seen fleeing from war or seeking refuge in unfamiliar places. Each day as the war rages on, cities are reduced to ashes, aged or below aged carry arms to defend their homeland or die for nationhood. Each day, some fortunate ones are buried with honors, and some so unfortunate ones are rapped in plastic bags in mass graves. As the war rages on, kids go without food, cities run out of supplies, some go thirsty, some go unsheltered, and the sick, unattended for. As the war rages on, victims outrage ages in the everyday bombardments of their cities, their towns, their villages, their schools, their hospitals, their homes, and their hopes. From skyline to ashes and from refineries to smoke, the war rages on – bringing the worst of humanity from the invaders and the best of humanity from the Open Hands- helping to salvage the savage carnage of a war. In the ashes of despair, a flag stands tall in the colors of Blue and Yellow. Blue, promising the Oceans and Skies shall be blue, freer and peaceful again. Yellow, promising the city shall shine and flourish again. There is hope in the air. There is talks of peace, negotiations, and dialogue. AIPHIL032822
