If the courts or judgmental institutions clears him of wrong doing, the the rules of democracy should encourage his canditacy rather than punish him for the sins of his father. In the end, Lybya needs a stable hand, an insider into a broken system – that knows the in and outs of it. Give him the chance that his father refused many – including his own children. Let the rule of law and the laws of free and fair elections prevail in Lybya. The bleeding must stop. The people must regain control of their war-torn country. Lybya needs a leader, not war lords or sectarian civil wars. A new day must come to Lybya. Let this be the time. Learn from mistakes.
