Don’t call it Child Welfare. It sounds political, discriminatory, derogatory, unwilling to help, and cruel in undertone. All kids are the same everywhere, anyhow. Hating the future of children is as cruelly irresponsible as it can get. Help kids. Reduce child poverty. Help struggling parents. Help single mothers. What about day care and child care? What about building the future of kids? What About Building the Wealth of Kids? Call it Child Wellbeing. Its sound caring, humanitarian, respectful, empathetic, conscientious, helpful, and patriotic. The wellbeing of the kid is not only the welfare of the state but something much nore. Refusing to curb child poverty hurts not just the affected but the competitive future of that cruel state itself. A child is the future. A child is God. A child is who and what we once were. Neglect not children. Play not politics with their well-being. Nations that neglect the wellbeing of children will be left behind.
