Remember January 6. Why in thy hands shall Democracy be destroyed? Remember the Journey of the Mayflower Ship. Remember Jamestown. Remember the Founding Fathers and Founding Mothers. Remember the Ratification of the Constitution and Amendments. Remember the Birth of America. Remember the Abolishion of Slavery, and the Emancipation Proclamation. Remember the Civil War. Remember Reconstruction, Jim Crow and the Civil Rights Movement. Remember the New Deal. Remember the Patriotic Sacrifices, the blood of our heroes, the limbs of our warriors – all in the name of Democracy – to preserve that which is the Hope of all Humanity. Why in our time shall you destroy that which We all hold dear? Undemocratic forces leading Democracy is an endangerment to Our Democracy itself. It?s the head that destroys itself and the whole. If history is not a lesson, it’s unwise to have archives, libraries, and schools. Ignorance is not patriotism. Hate is not nationalism. Democracy is not anarchy. “We the people” is not “We the angriest.” Democracy must work for all – else it?s not Democracy but Sectarianism. The grievances of the citizens shall never be taken for granted. The Destruction of Democracy starts by empowering and entitling a particular group over the rest – giving them the Privileges of the Rights of Unchecked Powers (PRUP). Democracy’s foes are domestic and internal. Al PHIL PIZ. 01062023
