Always remember to keep ego out of meaningful negociation – geared towards uncomfortable concessions, agreements, or arrangements. PIZ. In diplomacy, arrogance is a vice, mutual respect (despite disagreements) is a virtue. When you come to the table of negotiations, don’t bring the poison pill with you. Learn to establish long lasting relations in times of need. Shake hands even when you disagree or are at war. Let the hand shake be firm and boldly brave – looking your enemy in the eyes – to appeal to their humanity, sanity, civility, rationality, or ethos. You’re called to the negociation table because you’re the eyes and hopes of the future. Let old grudges bury itself. Let the future heals anew. War is cruel in all its forms, ways, spins, characteristics, expenses, losses or devastations. When you do negotiate in times of war, do it for the child, woman, and unborn. If you can’t build bridges, let others build. At the end of the day, humans, no matter their creed or birth, status, affluence, power or protection, need food, clothings, income, basic functionality, dignity, and place to call home.
