America deserves better and so are Americans. We don’t condone violence or abuse of power or abuse of enforcement officers. And we shouldn’t condone the daily killings of fellow Americans. We can disagree without killing one another. We can disagree and still all be Americans. It’s unAmerican and unpatriotic to exploit racism – it might cause lives and violence or riots in the streets. Make race a bridge, not a ticking time bomb. As Americans, we must learn to heal. We must learn to cure ourselves from the virus of racism, sexism and religious bigotry or hatefulness.
