We must take this time in solemn reflection of our past of being and where we as a nation go from here. As great icons who have shaped the history in which we live in are gradually leaving us, it’s upon the younger generations to pick up the mantle. But as they do, they should remember the wisdom of non violence, peaceful protest and “good trouble.” Fighting for political, civil, social and economic equality and justice going forward should always reminds us (as a nation and people) that there is a roadmap mapped by great icons of the past. And that roadmap leaps from MLK, John Lewis and other nonviolent great giants with or before. The ways to Peaceful Positive Change (PPC) and sustainable reconciliation is a non violent path.
