You know you’re not captaining the ship that you suppose to be captaining when you are squabbling, in-house-fighting or wasting patriotic time dividing one another – while the ship keeps on going smoothly and uninterruptedly. It means someone else is steering the ship and someone else is leading – not us. Leadership is us – not others. Others can learn from us and lead with us – not us being behind or lagging behind. We are the sun of the universe. The fear is that we become so internally self destructively consumed that we soon forget that the world is ours to lead. We mustn’t lose sight of our leadership role in the world. We are the greatest country in the world not because of our negative or divisive or discriminatory nationalism but because of our Positive Patriotic and Compassionate Humanitarian Nationalism (PPCHN).
