What makes a human mind to think this way? It’s the same like saying wearing a condom to avoid STD infection means you are weak, or warring gloves in hazardous circumstances makes you look weak or putting rain boots or putting on shoes or living under a roof, or wearing lenses, or covering yourself with a raincoat or umbrella makes you look weak.
