Ponderation Is the conscience of an ignorant person informed? If no, can it be liable? If a person is not educated about the law can they be held liable for that which they are ignorant of? Is it not the duty of the punisher to educated the ignorance of the punished on what they might be liable of? If ignorance is not an excuse before the law, does the law prey or profit from ignorance? If ignorance is not an excuse before the law isn’t it the duty of the system to make sure every citizen has legal education and understanding of the laws that they might be victims of or implicated by?
