Life is not lost in one election cycle. There is more to life than an election cycle. The country must go on. The loser must concede and move on. There is dignity in concession. There is patriotic integrity in concession. The loser must exit the stage with grace. We must make the loser feel better than feel humiliated. We must remind him/her of the good he/her has done to the country in his tenure. We must be grateful to him for moving the country forward. It’s all about country and the future – not one person.
