Love for Dr. King is love for country. It’s patriotism. It’s nonviolence. It’s willingness to sacrifice. It’s volunteering. It’s the Positive March, Positive Protest, and Positive Indignation. It’s bipartisanship, reconciliation, and concensus building. It’s building bridges and healing wounds. It’s about the Faith and keeping the Faith. It’s about growing communities and uplifting one another. It’s about the plight of the poor, feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and sheltering the homeless. Its about discouraging hate, racism, sexism, bigotry, or discrimination of any kind – everywhere. It’s about Rights – religious, civil, political, economic, societal, governmental, structural, or systemic. Its about being a good human being of goodwill, good conscience, and good nature. It’s about America, our love for the Union, protection of the Union, and preserving the Union. It’s about justice, fairness, equity, the rule of law, jusrisprudence, and prospering the American family. It’s about Voting, the Right to Vote, and the right to participate in a participatory Democracy. It’s about hard work, not hand outs. It’s about helping those in need, not promoting sloth. It’s about hope, promoting productivity, innovation, invention, trust, creativity, endeavors, and entrepreneurship. It’s the American Dream (AD), the American Way, American Pride, and American Light.
