Judgmentalism Judgementalization. Al PHIL. PIZ. 04232022 To be wrong means you should learn, not that you’re bad. It’s wrong to say somebody is bad. It’s right to say what somebody did was wrong. You can fix a wrong, you can’t fix that which you deem bad. Bad is to be discarded, wrong is to be fixed. Humans are fixable, not discardable. A thing can be bad, not a human being. That which is bad and fixable can be bad again. Spare humans the judgement of ruling them bad. Pay more attention to the wrongfulness of their deeds. Bring them to conscience rather than scare them with demonization, stigmatization, or dejection. A human being cornered can do more harm than good. Tell a terrible human he or she is a good person and they will learn to be good. Its easy to call names or make memes, but challenging to appeal to the good conscience, good nature, or goodwill in humans. Choice of words demonstrates intentions. Human are wrongful creatures, not bad creatures. Be weary ofJudgmentalism and Judgementalization – for it creates no greater good to humanity or takes humanity to a better place. Bad is a negative word to throw around easily on humans. Humans are always possible of positive growth. Even the worst of criminal can be the best of human if given a chance for positive growth, rehabilitation, redemption, rejuvenation, or repentance. Resist calling another humans bad.
